Sand Creek Coffee Roastery (“we,” “us”) is a small-batch coffee roastery in Moundridge, Kansas. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect what we need to roast and ship your coffee, and nothing we don’t.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order or create an account, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and the details of your order. If you create an account, your password is stored only as a salted, hashed value — we never see or keep your actual password. If you message us through the contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you send.

Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor (PayPal and/or Stripe). Your full card number is entered on their secure systems — we never see it and never store it. We only receive a confirmation that the payment succeeded and the amount.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical and usage data (such as pages viewed and general device information) to keep the site working and understand what’s useful. Your shopping cart is stored in your own browser, and if you sign in, we set a secure login cookie so you stay signed in.

How we use your information

• To process, roast, ship, and follow up on your orders.
• To send order confirmations, shipping and tracking emails, and account emails.
• To manage your account and any coffee subscription you set up.
• To respond to your questions and messages.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
